Eco Somatic Resourcing

  • ONLINE M6J0A8 CANADA (map)

This workshop offers a supportive and nurturing space for self-exploration. How do we find support within our being? By connecting to breath, our movement, and the earth’s body, we can learn self-regulation skills through eco-somatic exploration. Utilizing dance/movement therapy and mindfulness practices, we will foster connection with body, mind, and the natural world surrounding us.

Participants will:

  • Be introduced to Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT), a form of somatic psychotherapy, and its role in fostering the mind-body connection.

  • Experience eco somatic practice to enhance awareness of the interconnections between oneself and the natural world.

  • Explore mindfulness beyond sitting meditation by actively engaging the sensory system and DMT to promote self-regulation.

  • Discover the power of imagery and symbolic play as tools for accessing connection within oneself and with nature.
